Job summary:
- Make sure test panels, tools and relevant accessories are available and correct before any assessment.
- Check dossiers, assessment documentations and templates for candidate use, in co-operation with TESV staff.
- At start of assessment, inform candidates of important aspects of the assessment, as given in the candidate assessment brief for each assessment.
- Act as the supervisor for safety during assessment, to ensure all candidates are working in a safe manner, including electrical safety measures.
- Act as adjudicator (assistant examiner) by witnessing candidate work during the assessment, and report observations to examiner (from the CB) according to Adjudicator Report for each assessment.
- Act as adjudicator (assistant examiner) by inspecting panels and candidate documentation after the assessment, and report observations to examiner (from the CB) according to Adjudicator Report for each assessment.
- Adjudicator shall keep track of time, and inform candidates of half-time, 1 hour left, ½ hour left, 10 minutes left, and end time.
- Adjudicator shall collect all assessment documentation from each candidate separately and hand over documentation packages and Adjudicator Report files (Excel files) to TESV staff for submission to examiner (from the CB) for final examination and certification decision.
- In case of any missing/fault assessment materials, tools, adjudicator shall raise to TESV for fixing it.
- Minimum 10 years working experience relevant to Ex equipment.
- Knowledgeable about IEC 60079-14, IEC 60079-17.
- Demonstrate practical skills with Ex installation and Ex inspection.
- Good oral and communication skills
- Fluent English and Vietnamese.
- Possess IECEx CoPC Ex 001, Ex 00478, Ex 0036.
- Upon adjudicator’s Ex competency and assessment process, the adjudicator must be able to provide appropriate report which support examiner to have adequate conclusion of candidate’s Ex competency in accordance with IECEx rules.
- Need to pass an interview and be approved by the CB.
- Daily rate basis and to be paid per assessment
