The purpose of this role is to carry out the assigned duties, which include but no limit to: Monitor all welding activities of vessels built at the Yard to comply with WPS, Yard Quality Standard and Rules. Co-ordinate with Quality Manager in preparing WPS. Control and co-ordinate NDT activities and complete NDT requirements for each project. Study on materials of new project and prepare necessities for new WPS if required. Be responsible to prevent and solve problems and defects related to welding and metallurgy. Support Quality Manager in welder training and qualification courses. Support Quality Manager in Quality Document control. Qualifications Required: Bachelor degree in Welding engineer. Experience Required: Ship building or industrial experience. Experience in welding structure and piping. Experience in welding procedure and welding sequence building. Experience in welding inspection and NDT. Ship building technical issues interest. Other Requirements: Fluent in written and spoken English and Vietnamese.
