The purpose of this role is to carry out the assigned duties, which include but no limit to:
Participate in daily inspection.
Work with Classification society, Ship owner to get recommendation in order to take corrective action immediately.
Take inspection for incoming equipment, materials to ensure that fitted one on board of vessel are approved one.
Co-operate with concerning production departments to take pre-inspection and report issued properly.
Collect all information to make Request for Inspection (RFI) as well as get all inspection report properly.
Able to organize quality meeting.
- Co-ordinate with Project Manager, Engineering and Production Departments to deal with 3rd party’s comments.
- Patrol for unscheduled inspection on non-conformities.
- Report directly to Quality Manager all issues concerning about the project in charge.
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor or Master Degree within naval, marine or general engineering.
Other Requirements:
- Understanding about the Machinery, Piping, Outfitting installation standards and testing, commissioning and Hull standards, etc.
- Understanding about the shipbuilding technology.
- Understanding about the National and International Rules, Regulation of Classification Societies and Authorities in shipbuilding.
- Strict, working with method, organized.
- English written and spoken mandatory.
- Basic computer knowledge mandatory.
- Ship building technical issues interest.
- Minimum 2 years experience.
