POSITION 1: DEPUTY FABRICATION MANAGER
- Candidate must possess at least a College Degree, Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree, Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Industrial), Engineering (Others) or equivalent.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- Responsible for the follow up of material take-offs from the Process Engineer
 - Responsible for the monitoring and maintenance of adequate stock levels
 - Ensuring correct construction procedures are adhered to
 - Accountable for monitoring resource levels and the distribution of these resources to numerous projects
 - Assisting with the maintaining of safe working practices and good housekeeping in all areas and ensures Strategic Marine Vietnam policies are being followed
 - Maintain succession plan. Identify Key personnel to the Fabrication manager for future development
 - Ensure implementation of lean manufacturing and modular manufacturing is adhered to and accepted
 - Provides motivation, maintains morale and minimizes confrontation
 - Responsible for resource planning.
 - Conduct regularly and timely performance review for all direct reports.
 - Provide/give positive and corrective feedback to direct reports/Manager about performance in a timely manner.
 - Motive team members toward the common goals/objectives.
 - Works cooperatively with all members of the Fabrication team to develop and implement staffing plans and activities.
 - Support the immediate supervisor to provide leadership for Fabrication department’s staff.
 - Responsible for the implementation of all production schedules, monitoring and maintenance of schedules in conjunction with Superintendents.
 - Responsible for liaising with and directing outside contractors
 - Responsible for sourcing and distributing of information to Superintendents
 - Maintain weekly production metrics, traceability of competed work and MPT
 - Provide constant feedback to Superintendents regarding: Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety, Morale
 - Ensure that company policies and procedures are understood and followed
 
Knowledge:

POSITION 2: PROJECT PLANNER
- Candidate must possess at least a College Degree, Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree, Engineering (Industrial), Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Marine) or equivalent.

 - At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
 - Preferably Senior Staff/Team Leader/Supervisors specializing in Manufacturing/Production Operations or equivalent.

- To provide accurate planning and progress information relating to company projects.
 - To assist in accurate and competitive project estimations.
 - To plan the estimated SOW, monitor and report on the progress.
 - To understand estimated SOW & Contract in detail to identify variations and out of scope items.
 - To collect historical data on cost and schedule for manpower and materials.
 - To plan facility activities and manning levels to accommodate multiple project
 
- To build resourced project schedules using norms and estimated QTY’s to produce accurate manning requirements.
 - In conjunction with other project and operations staff, to plan and resource company projects based on the SOW.
 - To provide overall integrated plans regarding all yard scope of works (projects)
 - Monitor and report on progress against project plan.
 - Identify Variations and EOT events and compile claims accordingly.Maintain history of performance to be used in future works

 - Effective communicator in both written and spoken English.

To analyze through put, material egress/availability/order/takeoff, process, technique and to implement ways to continuously improve quality and schedule throughout all areas of the Production Dept.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- Preparing reports, flow diagrams and charts

 - Prepare and analyse schedules in conjunction with Production Superintendents and Project schedule dept and ensure they are followed
 - Prepare material take off for any vessel on various types of raw materials
 - Assessing processes for the relevance, and assessing the adequacy of engineering equipment
 - Assessing the availability of raw materials
 - Making observations and taking measurements directly, as well as collecting and interpreting data from the other technical and operating staff involved
 - Block Flow Diagrams (BFD) and Process Flow Diagrams (PFD).
