Key Responsibilities:
Coordination & Communication:
Act as the main contact point for daily communication between the commissioning team, shipyard personnel, and client representatives.
Coordinate daily commissioning activities and ensure all involved parties are informed and aligned.
Organize and support meetings, inspections, and progress tracking activities.
Documentation & Progress Tracking:
Maintain and manage all commissioning-related documents such as checklists, punch lists, test records, and progress logs.
Monitor the status of commissioning activities and follow up on outstanding items.
Prepare final documentation packages and support the handover process to the client.
Administrative Support:
Assist with personnel scheduling, daily activity logging, and report preparation.
Provide administrative support to the production follow-up team as needed, including documentation, reporting, and coordination tasks.
Ensure internal documentation flows are structured, up-to-date, and properly archived.
Health and Safety Compliance:
Support compliance with HSE procedures and ensure required safety documentation is available and followed.
Participate in toolbox meetings and assist in preparing documents for safe job execution.
Comply with the laws and regulations of labor safety and hygiene related to works and assigned tasks.
Use and maintain the Personal Protective Equipment, working tools, safety appliances and equipment in the workplace, and are responsible for any loss or damage.
Report immediately to a person in charge when discovering risks that may lead to work related accidents, diseases or poisoning and danger. Give first aid and take corrective action to prevent work related accidents as required by the company.
Properly participate in OHS training courses conducted by the Company, including training before working with machinery, equipment that need to apply strict requirements on safety.
Properly participate periodic medical check-up and occupational disease examination organized by employer.
Get advice from and follow the doctor's instructions if treatment is required.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
Experience in project coordination, site administration, or similar roles—preferably within shipbuilding, industrial, or construction environments.
Previous experience supporting engineering or commissioning teams is an advantage.
Skills & Competencies:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with document control or project tracking tools is beneficial.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Professional and dependable with good time management and multitasking abilities.
Proficiency in English (spoken and written) is required; Vietnamese language skills are essential for site coordination.
